Philip is a Methodist Minister in Penistone. He was formerly Churches Regional Officer at CRC for Yorkshire and the Humber. He has also been a minister in Huddersfield and Coventry (where he was chaplain at the University of Warwick). Before ministry he worked in the global financial markets in London. He enjoys a large family and the odd round of golf.|
Ann is a community development worker and researcher based in North Lincolnshire but works across Yorkshire and the Humber and the East Midlands. She is a Quaker and is a member of the Doncaster Society of Friends and became involved in the Wharfedale Foundation because of its commitment to social justice.
Angela has over twenty years’ experience within the third sector including fundraising, regeneration, community development, volunteer management, service user involvement, partnership working, evaluation and project management. She has a MSc in Sustainable Development and her academic studies specialise in community design and urban regeneration. Angela was born and raised in rural North Yorkshire she is a keen walker, lover of outdoor pursuits and enjoys gardening on her allotment.
Sue has worked in the voluntary sector in a variety of roles over the last 15 years. After retirement she is even busier volunteering in North Craven and looking after her two Springer Spaniels.
Ian has over 40 years’ experience of working in the voluntary, community and faith sectors – as a clergyperson, community worker, volunteer and trustee of a number of organisations (local, regional and national). Most recently he has been working freelance as an adviser to a variety of charities on issues such as fundraising, applications for charity status, strategic development and managing change. Ian has been a trustee of the Wharfedale Foundation since 2010 and was chair 2012-2016.

Sajda lives and works in North Lincolnshire having over 20 years experience of working and volunteering in the voluntary and community sector. She has served a number of trusteeships both on regional and local bodies including grant funding organisations. |
Jane Thompson (Treasurer)
Jane has extensive professional experience of working in the voluntary and community sector having worked as a trustee, volunteer, junior employee and senior manager in more than 10 charities. She has a great deal of knowledge about the funding and management of voluntary organisations and is currently completing her Masters degree in Charity Resource Management. Jane is married and lives in Hull, and spends her free time enjoying photography, knitting and is a keen member of a local amateur theatre group.
